Division of Physicians
The Division of Physicians comprises the following Faculties:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Laboratory Medicine
- Paediatrics and Child Health
- Psychiatry
- Public Health
- Radiology and Radiation Oncology
- Emergency Medicine
Division of Surgeons
The Division of Surgeons comprises the following Faculties:
- Anaesthesia and Intensive Care;
- Dental Surgery and Sub-Specialties;
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology;and
- General and Specialized Surgery.
Faculties envisaged for the future:
- Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; and
- Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology and Oto-Rhino-Laryngology. (Out of the “Specialized Surgery” of 4 above)
Faculty Board
Each Faculty has a Faculty Board that promotes the academic programmes of the Faculty. The Faculty Board is elected by Fellows of the Faculty and comprises:
- a Chairperson and
- six or more Fellows who belong to the Faculty as members, one of whom is elected as Secretary.
