<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND SELECTION INTERVIEW INTO RESIDENCY TRAINING &#8211; 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>The entrance examination and selection interview for admission into residency training 2012 is as follows:</p>
<p><strong>Date:</strong> Monday, 28<sup>th</sup> May 2012 – written examination for Faculty of Laboratory Medicine, Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Emergency Medicine.</p>
<p>Tuesday, 29<sup>th</sup> May, 2012 – selection interview for all applicants.</p>
<p><strong>Venue:</strong> College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS), 54 Independence Avenue, Ridge, Accra</p>
<p><strong>Time: </strong>9.00am each day</p>
<p>You are to be seated by 8.30am prompt.  Please come along with all original copies of your certificates and relevant documents.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Executive Board approves privileges for doctors holding the Membership qualification of the College]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>NOTICE : </strong><strong>MEMBERS OF THE GHANA COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS</strong></p>
<p>The Executive Board of the College at its meeting in April 2011 approved the following for doctors holding the Membership qualification of the College.</p>
<ol>
<li>Participate      in the deliberations of the Annual General and Scientific Meeting;      and  join the procession during the      Opening Ceremony in the appropriate gown</li>
<li>Pay      annual dues at 50% of Fellows’ dues.       (currently Fellows’ dues stand at GH¢40)</li>
<li>Senior      Residents may have representation on Faculty Boards but will have no      voting rights</li>
<li>In      general Members will not have voting rights on College-wide decisions</li>
<li>Representation      of residents on the College Council remains as enshrined in Act 635 (2003)</li>
</ol>
