The fourth Council of the College was inaugurated on Friday 16^th April 2010 by the Honorable Minister of Health, Dr. Benjamin Kunbuor, at a ceremony held at the College. The members of the Council are Professor G.W. Brobby, Professor A. A. Bruce-Tagoe, Dr. F. K. Wurapa, Professor Grace Parkins, Dr. J.B. Wilson, Professor J. W. Archampong, Most Reverend Dr. R. Aboagye-Mensah, Professor E. Laing, Dr. K. O. Adadey, Mr. Henry Tackie, Mr. Dzikum and Dr. James Boachie. 

The Council set to work immediately after its inauguration with its first meeting, at which Professor G.W. Brobby was elected Chairman of Council and President of the College. Professor Grace Parkins was elected Treasurer of the College. The Council then appointed Professor David Ofori-Adjei as Acting Rector of the College. Until his appointment, Professor Ofori-Adjei was the Vice Rector of the College.
